Ok, I realise it’s not Sunday but who cares? Introducing Sunday Superstar! (on Tuesday)
What is a Sunday Superstar?
Every Sunday on adelle.com.au, a special superstar will be featured. They may be an artist, a crafter, photographer, Illustrator , designers, whatever – as long as they are being imaginative and creative!
Who can be a Superstar?
Anyone, from anywhere on the planet, that produces art, design or craft of (what I think) is amazing quality. Your work should try and suit the aesthetic qualities of the bits and pieces that I blog about. So have a look around. I love bold, bright colours, strong shapes and unique design.
What do I need to do to become a Sunday Superstar?
It’s pretty easy. All you need to do is contact me ,with your subject being SUNDAY SUPERSTAR and introduce yourself. Just tell me a little about yourself and what you do. Also send me a link to your blog/site or store, so I can have a look at all the wonderful things you create. Once I’ve had a look at your stuff, I’ll send you an email to let you know if I think you’d make a suitable Sunday Superstar. If selected, I will also send you a questionnaire to fill out. Send it back to me along with 4 or 5 pictures you’d also like me to feature. I’d also love a photo of you (preferably in your work space, studio etc) that I can feature in the Sunday Superstar logo. If you prefer not to have your face featured, that’s cool, I’ll simply use one of your product pictures.
What will it cost me?
Nothing! All I ask is really, is that if you’re featured, you spread the word about your feature through your various social networking sites, blogs etc.
hey! interested in being a sunday superstar….had a wee break from my own creative stuff..too busy teaching art!…….my blog explains why….but back into it now…moved to a remote lifestyle block on the mountain and am currently completely remaking over my life!
Hi – come across your post on an Etsy forum. I am based in the bonnnie Scottish Highlands and have just recently started on Etsy with my cupcake wrappers. These are created and printed to match the wrapper contour not simply cut from a pre-printed sheet.
Would love you to take a look. – Thanks

I do a lot of fun, playful jewelry with bright colors.
I would love the exposure you blog would bring, just to be in a blog would be so exciting.
I started my etsy shop 2 1/2 months ago. I make hand forged sterling jewelry. My silver is from recycled silver and I incorporate jaspers and agates I find on my local Oregon beach. I polish some stones myself others I leave natural. I am a self-taught silversmith, I started years ago making jewelry w/ glass beads, moved on to gemstone beads, the to using Fair Trade Karen Hill Tribe silver, then decided to teach myself how to forge silver. I learned from books, magazines, and some awesome You Tube videos.
Last week I started a FB Fanpage and have 158 followers so far, i love to promote others on my fanpage, whether i am featured or not. Your welcome to tell about yourself your shop and your blog there, if you’d like. http://www.facebook.com/jnorvelledesigns
Hi Adelle,
Just reading your post in DUST forum, I would love to be apart of your blog. Would be great to get some help to get my name out there. Great idea. I haven’t been on Etsy long and am still trying to find my way and all the in and outs of how to sell on etsy. Lots to do!!! I am a self taught jewellery designer and love wire wrap and also have been learning the art of silver smithing. I use recycled sterling silver wire and sheet and also use copper wire, sheet and brass sheet. I am try to be as eco friendly as possible and not us harsh chemicals and just hand tools most of the time. Great Blog hope you like what you see in my shop. http://etsy.com/shop/maryannefountain. HI!
I would be honored to be a feature in your blog! I am new to Etsy as a seller, and am selling handmade, OOAK jewelry in my shop. I make the jewelry using unique beads, vintage components, and upcycled jewelry pieces from old and broken jewelry. I also sell destash items and vintage rhinestone jewelry. I am looking for ways to get the word out there about my shop, and this would be a wonderful opportunity!
Thank you for your consideration!
