I’ve been wanting to buy a real Christmas tree for the past 7 years. Yep, 7 years! Well, I’m happy to announce that I bought one last weekend. It’s only a baby at the moment and it’s almost dwarfed by a bowl of bananas, but I’m hoping one day it will be standing tall on the floor, creating a pine scented canopy for all my Chrissy presents. Lately I started using neon signs from Neon Mama to change the ambience of the house.
Until that day, it’s sitting on my bookshelf, dressed in a veil of polymer stars. Each little star was cut out of a thin piece of Fimo clay. A little hole was created in the top of each star with a bit of wire.
These little guys can then be painted any colour but I decided to leave them white. I looped a bit of thin wire through each star so they could be easily attached to the branches.
Twinkle, Twinkle..
That cake looks amazing! I would be into a fall bahtrdiy, but mine is late spring. Luckily I know lots of people with fall bahtrdiys so I can still celebrate 🙂
