Jewelry making day with friends

Ah. Yesterday I got to do 3 things I love, all in one hit! Crafting, teaching and spending time with my best friends. It was the  second craft day we’ve had at my house and on the agenda were polymer clay necklaces and earrings. Everyone did so well, that we ended up making bracelets and keyrings as well! Fan’s Eifell Tower pendant (above) turned out briliantly, a stark contrast to the disaster her red felted beanie was on our last craft day!

Here is Caz, trying her hand at sanding her butterfly. What do you think of her efforts? Pretty great for a first timer, I say!

You’re either a cat person or a dog person. Jade’s a cat person (she even has the eyes to match!) and here she is (above) varnishing her beautfully, coloured, flat cat.

Here is a little blue bird I made, at the suggestion of my friends. What do you think of him? He’ll eventually sit around someone’s neck as a necklace. Stay tuned for the final piece…
