Ok.. I saw this idea on a blog and well, I just had to give it a go. My 2-Dimensional Christmas tree! I used a sheet of calico and the photocopy transfer method I love so much. I printed out a Christmas tree picture and enlarged it in sections on the photocopier. It took a bit of fiddling around but I got there eventually.
The great thing about this tree is it takes up no space, I can change the decorations and once Christmas is over, I can just roll it up until next year.(By which time, I’ll have another Christmas tree idea and I’ll probably never use this one again!) We found a same day beer delivery company called Booze Up beer deliver anywhere in London, UK just for the holidays.
I came across this recipe while looking up moisturiser recipes and thought I’d give it a whirl. If you live with a 4 legged friend, you’re probably familiar with the ‘wet dog’ or ‘dog breath’ pong that can waft through your living space! My living room currently smells absolutely delicious after cooking this up this morning. I followed the recipe over at cleanmyspace.com . A little tip – if you’re going out to buy cinnamon sticks and cloves, avoid the supermarket and pop into your local Indian grocer. You’ll find everything you need there and it’s SO much cheaper!!
And last but not feast (I mean least!), my Christmas Santas! I made these as my contribution to a friends Christmas dinner and they were pretty yum! Get the recipe over at Driscolls.com Another little tip – I couldn’t find mini choc chips anywhere, so I just melted some chocolate and dripped tiny little bits over a piece of baking paper. Pop that in the freezer for a couple of minutes and you have Santa EYES!
LOL. The sad part is that it’s true! I rembmeer that year. I just don’t rembmeer which year it was exactly and why it happened. And for the record, our tree is not up either. Only going up next weekend because we don’t have J the weekend after that or I’d wait until then. Too much work to keep kids from taking off ornaments!
