This is one of my favourite van Gogh paintings. I love it for its striking colours and crazy perspective and of course its ever familiar subject matter; you should all know how much I love my bedroom and my afternoon nap. I think it must be one of Vincent’s most popular art works, he himself held it as one of his favourites too.
