Apparently, today in South East Australia, it is hotter than anywhere on Earth! Against Government advice, I went outside today to hang some washing. In one word… HOTTT! So I thought today would be a fitting day to feature some lovely Valentines Day items from Art Fire.com.
Does everyone feel the same as me, in thinking that it’s so much harder to buy gifts for men, than it is for us women? Here are some Valentine Gifts for him courtesy of artfire.com, that I think are pretty cute.

Ivy Leaf has been creating these bookmarks for 15 years. This double hearts bookmark is hand-formed, 18 gauge silver-plated wire which is then run through the rolling mill to flatten it so it will lay nicely in a book or journal. Perfect for a book boy.

Sick of love hearts? What about real hearts? These cufflinks created by Tilly Bloom, are inspired by anatomical drawings and I think they are a little more interesting than the red love heart we’re used to seeing. Real love?

I love this one. You e-mail your photo to Angie, from Remember Wynn, and she puts it on a leather key chain. The image is actually burned in with a laser, not printed, so it should last a very long time..

  1. I love that bookmark. I wasn’t aware of the Art Fire.com website, so I’ve been enjoying browsing through it.

Thanks, and try to stay cool!

  2. Oh my, when I posted my other comment, I hadn’t yet seen the news. I thought you were just posting about heat in general. I do hope you are safe where you are — the wildfires down there are just tragic.

    Stay safe!

Great round up, and I agree. It’s so hard shopping for men on vday :)
