Resin Ring van Gogh Collection 2009

When I think of Vincent van Gogh, it’s with a heavy heart. Only having sold a single painting during his life time, he suffered from anxiety and died unknown, at the age of 37 from a self inflicted gunshot wound. Over the years, the story of van Gogh’s life has become almost as famous as his paintings.

Each painting above corresponds to the ring in the same spot in the first picture. My main inspiration were  van Gogh’s brilliant colours. As he put it, ”What colour is in a picture, enthusiasm is in life.” – van Gogh.
