Paper mache bugs!

Well into Term 2 now and here’s what I’m making with my year 7s at the moment. BUGS! GIANT ones!!

They’re not quite finished yet, but you get the idea! We have dragonflies, butterflies, snails and spiders all slowly coming to life in the art room!!

This bee was the first one finished. I love how he has human-ish joggle eyes! hehe.

This butterfly still needs her wings. They are being beautifully painted with water colour paints as we speak.. stay tuned for all the finished bugs.
