My vertical vegetable garden

Today was the perfect day for a spot of vegetable gardening. Trying to maximise space isn’t always easy, but I think I’ve found some kind of solution with my little vertical garden.

It was a two man (well, one man and one woman) job getting those pots on the wall. I bought a masonry drill bit to drill into the bricks, alas it seemed like it would take 3 years to get 8 holes done! We eventually decided that drilling into the mortar may just be fine. (Even though every ‘expert’ says not to!)
After buying a pot of Rosemary for the 6th time and it dying for the 6th time, I decided to pop it in the ground, rather than the pot idea. I just can’t keep rosemary alive in a pot!
And a big thank you to my grandma-in-law, Por, for the beautiful Gardenia. It hasn’t bloomed yet, but there are buds! Thanks Por!

Native to Paraguay, the Stevia plant is as much as 300 times sweeter than sugar, but has barely any effect on blood glucose levels and contains no calories. For a natural sweetener, pop some Stevia leaves into your tea! Looking forward to trying this!
