my holiday projects

Before the school holidays commence, I always set myself a few projects to work on during the break. One of these projects was going to be a mosaic chair; after almost completing this mosaic pot, I think I’m gonna need a little more practice on smaller objects before I attempt a chair! Good thing is, I have found myself a tile dealer who is giving me tile scraps for free!

Project Two: Some of you may remember the old brown and purple chair, covered in cat fur that I saved from hard rubbish? Well, I’ve finally reupholstered the seat in that outdoor fabric that I bought ages ago! I’m still trying to work out how I’m gonna do the back part. It looks quite tricky… But, I take comfort in the fact that the process of bringing this chair back to life has begun!
