Learning to use the sewing machine
It took me nearly a year to actually take the sewing machine I inherited out of its box! I did it yesterday. It had no instruction manual so ‘God bless You Tube!’.
I haven’t actually made a garment yet, rather embellishing a couple, but I’m taking baby steps. I can now thread the machine with confidence which is something I couldn’t do 2 days ago, so I’m quite proud of myself.
My next goal is to make a skirt. Wish I’d started doing this 4 weeks ago! I only have 1 week of holidays left and then it’s back to the kids. Where did the time go?
