fence flowers

At the risk of sounding like a girl, my post today is about flowers. The beautiful orange flowers draping over this fence, are what welcome me home every afternoon as I walk down our back lane. It’s almost as if they’re trying to escape their garden by creeping down the other side of the fence.

And low and behold, after failing to soak my Nasturtium seeds overnight, like all the websites I read AFTER I planted them, said to do, they have sprouted none the less!! Do you love the little water drop?

The flowers don’t stop yet.. here are a couple of pairs of flower studs from my summer collection. They will be available in my online store soon.

Happy flower Monday everyone!

  3. [...] I know it’s not the most beautiful flower specimen in the world, but this is what I woke up to this morning! My very first Nasturtium flower!! The same ones I planted a few months ago have finally started to flower! Look at how far they’ve come… [...]

  4. Oh, I do love your “first flower”! I remember my Mum planting those every year when I was a child!

And those bridesmaids dresses don’t look like the kind my MY DAY! Back in the 70’s! They have come a long way with that look!
    Love your posts!
