Gingerbread House
The gingerbread house that ended up taking about 6 hours to construct never really eventuated into exactly what I wanted. I’ll be blunt – No matter what I did, I couldn’t get the roof to stay on! My explanation for this was the roof needed to be a lot thinner than the walls, hence less heavy, then perhaps the roof would have adhered to the four walls. Despite the structural issues and the realisation that I could never make it as an architect, the gingerbread itself tasted pretty good. It is now in a million pieces and looks something like this;
[...] And here is the house that all my little men will be living in for the next day or so until they all get gobbled up!! At least this year my house has a roof, unlike the disaster from last year! [...]
