Beautiful Murano Glass creations
Oh.. the prettiest glass creations on the Venetian Island of Murano, Italy.
Above is one of the glass factories we visited, with it’s beautiful chandelier suspended above the entrance.
For 2 Euro per person you get to see the man in the picture below create a magnificent glass horse and a vase, all in the space of about 4 minutes! All the while he had a cigarette in his hand. Quite amazing really.
You can see he follows all health and safety regulations too – You’d wear socks and sandals too, if you were working with furnaces and molten glass, wouldn’t you?
